Bissel Blocktail Party- Charity

he BISSELL Blocktail Party® is a fundraising event founded in 2005 by a group of animal advocates to support local, West Michigan animal welfare organizations. The Committee has dedicated many years to animal welfare, and, since 2012, all funds raised will be contributed to the BISSELL Pet Foundation; a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 to assist animal welfare organizations and their efforts to reduce the number of animals in shelters and rescues.
The BISSELL Blocktail Party Committee recognizes the best way to help save more animals is to support multiple local organizations. Funds raised at this year’s event will be allocated to 10 selected Blocktail Buddies:
C-SNIP, Kent County Animal Shelter, Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary, Vicky’s Pet Connection, Humane Society of West Michigan, Carol’s Ferals, Crash’s Landing & Big Sid’s Sanctuary, Focus on Ferals, Rueben’s Room and Safe Haven Humane Society.
In addition, any animal welfare organization in the Greater Grand Rapids area is welcome to apply for a BISSELL Blocktail Grant.
